Well, That Was Interesting

So, I have completed my first couple of shifts back at work and my legs feel like jelly, going to take some time to get used to it again! Also, it also seemed like absolute lunacy to be back at work. With a strong gut instinct, it just felt like I wasn't meant to be there. Maybe, this is finally the catalyst for change that I needed. I have done just that, I am taking a leap of faith and diving into the world of digital freelance services and YOU can now utilise my mixing skills through Fiverr! As many of you know I've mixed all my own music as Vanaheimr and now as Witchwood Wizard & The Psychic Yeti, so now I'm looking for a new challenge! So, if you know anyone that needs any songs mixing, then get them in contact with me. On a more serious not,  I am fully prepared to take a catapult or trebuchet to the cliffs of Dover, and hurl myself across to the continent. British stupidity no longer astounds me, a pint in exchange for the virus sounds like a poor deal. Don't get me wrong, it's not the businesses opening up that's the problem, its the complete incompetence of the British people that will cause a second spike. Even though the confusion caused by our wonderful government and it's fumbling, club footed advice has given these people the green light, I just find the hypocrisy of these very same people saying fighting for basic human rights in the BLM movement during a global pandemic is stupid but crowding Soho with no social distancing or masks for a pint with the lads is perfectly acceptable. End of the day I'd welcome a second lockdown as I can pour all my passion, effort and time into getting the hell out of a pub. Anyway, that's enough of my waffling, time for this week's lists!

Throwback Of The Week

I've been reading a lot of sagas and historical articles recently about Vikings (shock horror), so much so I've had a massive book spending spree and bought loads of sagas that should keep me entertained for a while. Reading the saga of the Volsungs has been an absolute treat so far, and I love the medieval, straight to the point writing style just making it so easy to remember these stories. So, with that in mind it will come as no surprise that this week's throwback is Amon Amarth;
